- 1 small orange add 1–2 more for sweetness
- 2 small lemons more for acidity
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh turmeric peeling optional
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh ginger peeling optional
- 1/8 tsp fresh black pepper
- 1/4 tsp oil optional, for turmeric absorption
1. Add orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger to a juicer. Peel citrus if necessary depending on your machine.
2. OR: Juice orange and lemon separately. Blend the juice with chopped turmeric and ginger in a high-speed blender.
3. Strain mixture using a nut milk bag, fine strainer, or cheesecloth. Turmeric may stain tools—wash promptly.
4. Serve immediately, topped with cracked black pepper. Store up to 24 hours in the fridge.
Peeling turmeric and ginger is optional.
Turmeric may stain kitchen tools.
Add olive oil for better absorption of curcumin.
