  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla bean paste.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
