Ingredients

  • 1 16.3-oz can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 caramel candies
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 apples finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Caramel sauce for topping
  • Crushed peanuts for topping

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium cooking dish with cooking spray.
  • 2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • 3. Remove biscuits from the can and stretch slightly. Place 1 tablespoon of apple mixture in the center of each dough circle and top with one caramel candy. Pinch together the ends of the dough to form a ball.
  • 4. Place balls into the prepared dish and brush with melted butter.
  • 5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • 6. Garnish with caramel sauce and crushed peanuts before serving.
