Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats Use rolled oats for best texture.
  • 1 cup nut butter Can use peanut, almond, or cashew butter.
  • 1/2 cup honey Provides sweetness and binding.

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional for a sweeter treat.
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits Choose any dried fruits you like, chopped small.
  • 1/4 cup seeds Options include sunflower seeds or chia seeds.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, add the oats, nut butter, and honey. Stir until the oats are evenly coated and the mixture looks thick and sticky.
  • If using chocolate chips, dried fruits, and/or seeds, sprinkle them in and stir until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the mixture to a lined baking dish and press it down firmly into an even layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the bars are firm.
  • Lift the slab out, then cut into bars for serving.

Notes

Press firmly to ensure compact bars. Optional ingredients can be varied based on preference. Store in the refrigerator for best texture.
