- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- ¾ cup almond butter
- ¼ cup chocolate or vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 –2 tbsp milk optional
1. In a large bowl, mix oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, and sea salt.
2. Add almond butter, sweetener, and peppermint extract. Stir until a dough forms.
3. Fold in chocolate chips.
4. Add 1–2 tbsp milk if mixture is too dry.
5. Roll into balls using about 1 tbsp of dough per ball.
6. Chill for 15–30 minutes and enjoy!
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for 3 months.
Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
