Ingredients
  

  • 20 fresh lemon balm leaves or 2 tbsp dried
  • 1 quart filtered water
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Honey to taste optional

Instructions
 

  • 1. Bring 1 quart water to a boil.
  • 2. Add lemon balm leaves to a teapot.
  • 3. Pour boiling water over leaves, stir, and steep 10 minutes.
  • 4. Strain into cups, add honey to taste, garnish with lemon.

Notes

Use fresh lemon balm when possible for best flavor.
