Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries or frozen, thawed
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla bean paste.
  • 4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  • 5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • 6. Fold in the raspberries and chocolate chips gently.
  • 7. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  • 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  • 9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the dough.
