  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened, full-fat brick style

Chocolate Coating

  • 12 oz chocolate Your choice of dark, milk, or white chocolate

Decoration

  • 1 cup sprinkles or candy melts For decoration before the chocolate sets

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, resembling black sand.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbs with the softened cream cheese and mix until you have a thick, sticky dough.

Molding

  • Press the Oreo mixture firmly into heart-shaped silicone molds, ensuring there are no air pockets.
  • Freeze the molds for about 30 minutes until the mixture is firm.

Coating

  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring until smooth and pourable.
  • Gently unmold the truffles and dip each one in melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  • Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate sets.

Finishing

  • Let the coated truffles chill for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  • Serve, gift, or store in the fridge for later enjoyment.

You can freeze truffles for up to 2 months; let them thaw in the fridge before serving. Let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving for the best texture.
