Ingredients
  

  • 6 –8 fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. In a bowl, toss sliced peaches with sugar and lemon juice. Let sit 10 minutes.
  • 3. Pour melted butter into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • 4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
  • 5. Pour batter over butter—do not stir.
  • 6. Spoon peach mixture evenly on top.
  • 7. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
  • 8. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • 9. Let cool for 15–20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use ripe, in-season peaches for best flavor.
You can leave skins on if preferred.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
