Dubai Chocolate Bar

  • cups milk chocolate melted
  • 2 tbsps tahini
  • cups pistachio cream
  • 2 cups shredded Kataifi dough chopped
  • ¼ stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • ¼ cup white chocolate
  • food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Chop the Kataifi dough into smaller pieces.
  • In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and toast the Kataifi dough until golden brown. Add tahini and pistachio cream.
  • Mix until well combined and turn off the heat.
  • Melt the white chocolate with coconut oil and separate into bowls for coloring. Drizzle colored chocolate into the mold.
  • Melt milk chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals. Pour into the mold to cover the bottom and sides.
  • Add pistachio kunafa filling, smoothing it to the edges.
  • Top with more melted chocolate to cover the filling completely. Let set in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Once set, remove from the mold and slice into bars.

Notes

- Kataifi dough can be found in Middle Eastern grocery stores.
- Homemade pistachio cream adds a personal touch.
