  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened (for frosting)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste for frosting
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, followed by milk and vanilla bean paste. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until combined.
  • Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together butter, powdered sugar, vanilla bean paste, and heavy cream until smooth.
  • Once cooled, spread the frosting on each cupcake and finish with sprinkles.
