Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas firm and slightly underripe
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Peel the bananas and slice them into uniform thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Place the banana slices in a bowl and gently toss with the lemon juice to coat.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 330°F.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the coconut sugar or brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and sea salt until well combined.
  • Press each banana slice into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  • Arrange the coated banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap.
  • Air fry for 10 to 14 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through cooking, until the edges are golden and slightly curled.
  • Transfer the banana chips to a wire rack and let them cool for 10 minutes until crisp before serving.

Notes

- Use bananas that are yellow with a hint of green for the best crisp texture.
- Let the chips cool completely before storing in an airtight container to keep them crunchy.
