  • 1 cup coconut milk Use chilled for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 2 cups ice For serving.
  • 1/2 cup water To adjust consistency.

Preparation

  • Juice the limes to extract about 1 cup of lime juice.
  • In a blender, combine the lime juice, coconut milk, and maple syrup. Blend for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Add ice and a splash of water, adjusting to your preferred thickness. Blend again until crushed and well mixed.
  • Check consistency; it should be velvety and creamy. Stop blending when smooth.
  • Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with a lime slice if desired.

Notes

For best results, use ripe limes for optimal flavor. Chill coconut milk beforehand for a colder drink. Feel free to experiment with mint or pineapple juice for additional flavors.
