- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: fruit jam chocolate chips, or cinnamon sugar
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Unroll dough and separate into triangles.
4. Place 1 heaping tsp of filling near the wide end of each triangle.
5. Roll toward the point, tucking edges slightly to seal.
6. Place on baking sheet, brush with egg wash if desired.
7. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
8. Cool slightly before serving.
Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for the smoothest filling.
For variation, add a swirl of jam before rolling.
Can be frozen unbaked for up to a month.
