- 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
- 4 cups cooked wild rice or 5-grain medley
- 10.5 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Sauté celery, onion, and garlic in a frying pan. Season with salt and pepper.
3. In a large bowl, combine chicken, soup, sour cream, chicken stock, and sautéed vegetables.
4. Gradually add rice, mixing well.
5. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 11 baking dish. Smooth the top.
6. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
7. Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden brown.
8. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Use a wild rice blend for added flavor.
Substitute chicken stock with water if needed.
