Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 4 cups cooked wild rice or 5-grain medley
  • 10.5 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2. Sauté celery, onion, and garlic in a frying pan. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 3. In a large bowl, combine chicken, soup, sour cream, chicken stock, and sautéed vegetables.
  • 4. Gradually add rice, mixing well.
  • 5. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 11 baking dish. Smooth the top.
  • 6. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • 7. Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden brown.
  • 8. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use a wild rice blend for added flavor.
Substitute chicken stock with water if needed.
