Ingredients
  

Filling:

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp salted caramel sauce
  •  

Dough:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • 1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and caramel until smooth.
  • 2. Scoop 1 tsp portions and freeze for 30 minutes.
  • 3. Cream butter and sugars; add egg and vanilla.
  • 4. Mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  • 5. Scoop 2 tbsp dough, flatten, place frozen filling in center.
  • 6. Wrap dough around filling and seal completely.
  • 7. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
  • 8. Cool slightly, then drizzle with caramel and sprinkle flaky salt.

Notes

Freeze cheesecake centers to avoid leaks.
Seal dough fully around filling.
Store in fridge up to 5 days, or freeze up to 2 months.
