Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium apples sliced
  • 1 cup caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream. Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the caramel is melted and smooth.
  • 2. Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel, making sure to coat it evenly. Allow any excess caramel to drip off.
  • 3. Place the caramel-coated apple slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt while the caramel is still warm.
  • 4. Refrigerate the apple slices for about 10 minutes to set the caramel. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Choose apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for a good balance of flavors.
