Brazilian Mounjaro Drink: Surprising 3-Ingredient Refreshment

Ingredients
  

  • 500 ml 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger sliced (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • 1 teaspoon honey or to taste

Instructions
 

  • 1. Boil 500 ml of water in a saucepan. Add fresh ginger now if using.
  • 2. Remove from heat and stir in the butterfly pea flowers.
  • 3. Let steep for 10 minutes until water turns deep blue.
  • 4. Strain the flowers (optional).
  • 5. Stir in lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Watch the drink change color.
  • 6. Serve hot or chilled over ice.

Notes

Adjust honey to taste.
For a deeper color, steep longer.
Best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for 24 hours.
