Biscoff Spread Dessert Bars: A Sweet, Irresistible Delight

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Biscoff cookie chunks
  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks or chips
  • Cookie Butter Frosting
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup cookie butter or Biscoff spread
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  • 2. Brown butter in a large pan over medium heat, stirring until nutty and brown. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  • 3. Stir brown sugar into cooled butter until combined.
  • 4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
  • 5. Mix in flour and salt until just combined. Add Biscoff cookie chunks and white chocolate chunks.
  • 6. Spread mixture in prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until slightly wobbly in the center.
  • 7. Cool for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • 8. For frosting, mix butter and cookie butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, and milk to desired consistency.
  • 9. Once bars are cool, frost and cut into squares.

Notes

Use salted butter for extra flavor.
Ensure the butter mixture is cool before adding eggs to prevent cooking them.
