  • 2.25 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 0.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 0.5 cups Nutella
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  • In another bowl, combine milk, butter, and egg. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into circles.
  • Spoon Nutella onto one set of circles, then top with remaining circles.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Air fry beignets for 6-8 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

- Substitute almond or oat milk for a dairy-free option.
- Knead well to develop gluten for the perfect texture.
