  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla bean paste until fully combined.
  • Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in the sprinkles, then spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until edges are golden but the center is still slightly soft.
  • Cool completely before slicing into squares. Top with extra sprinkles if desired.
