These Monster Halloween Pretzels are fun, colorful, and spooky treats made with candy melts, pretzel rods, and festive decorations. Perfect for Halloween parties, school events, or family baking nights.
Ingredients
12 pretzel rods
1 cup white candy melts
1 cup orange candy melts
1 cup green candy melts
Food coloring (optional, for tinting white melts)
1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles
1/4 cup candy eyeballs
Parchment or wax paper
Instructions
1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Melt candy melts in separate bowls according to package directions. Stir until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
3. Dip each pretzel rod into melted candy, coating about 2/3 of the rod. Tap lightly to remove excess.
4. Place dipped pretzels on parchment paper and add sprinkles or candy eyeballs while coating is still wet.
5. Let pretzels set at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, or place in the fridge for faster setting.
6. For mummy-style pretzels, drizzle white candy melt across a coated pretzel and add eyeballs near the top.
7. Once dry, serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Pretzels can be stored for up to 1 week at room temperature.
For variety, try using pretzel twists instead of rods.
If candy melts thicken while working, reheat for 10–15 seconds in the microwave.
