Description
Soothing lemon balm tea recipe made with fresh or dried lemon balm leaves. A relaxing, caffeine-free drink that also supports digestion and weight loss.
Ingredients
20 fresh lemon balm leaves (or 2 tbsp dried)
1 quart filtered water
Lemon slices for garnish
Honey to taste (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring 1 quart water to a boil.
2. Add lemon balm leaves to a teapot.
3. Pour boiling water over leaves, stir, and steep 10 minutes.
4. Strain into cups, add honey to taste, garnish with lemon.
Notes
Use fresh lemon balm when possible for best flavor.
Can be served hot or iced.
Pairs well with ginger, mint, or chamomile.
