Ingredients

Scale

1 cup frozen cherries

2 cups dairy-free milk (almond, coconut, or oat)

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1/4 cup whole chia seeds

Instructions

1. Blend the frozen cherries, dairy-free milk, maple syrup, and almond extract in a blender on high speed until smooth.

2. Pour the mixture into a jar or bowl. Add chia seeds and stir for about 1 minute.

3. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, then stir again.

4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

5. Stir well before serving and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

If it thickens too much, add a splash of dairy-free milk to loosen.
