Moist, rich Halloween Chocolate Cupcakes decorated with spooky designs, perfect for parties.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Orange/black frosting & candy for decoration
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray.
2. Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
4. Mix dry and wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk.
5. Spoon batter into liners, bake 18–20 minutes, then cool.
6. Decorate with frosting, candy eyes, and Halloween toppers.
Notes
Store at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate up to 5 days. Best decorated the same day for freshness.
