Description
Sweet, soft, and delicious Cotton Candy Rice Krispie Treats are a fun twist on the traditional favorite.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 ounces mini marshmallows
1.5 ounces pink cotton candy
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Pink, red, and white sprinkles
Instructions
1. Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
3. Remove from heat. Add cotton candy in small pieces, stirring until melted.
4. Stir in Rice Krispies cereal until well combined.
5. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Press lightly.
6. Decorate with sprinkles and press gently.
7. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
Notes
For strawberry flavor, use 10 ounces of strawberry marshmallows.
Use a light touch when pressing the mixture to avoid hard treats.
