Description
These Rice Krispies treats taste just like a crispy chocolate-covered cherry!
Ingredients
4 tbsp butter
10 oz mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
4 oz cherry jello
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 tbsp shortening
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
3. Stir in jello powder.
4. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies.
5. Press mixture into a greased baking sheet.
6. Melt chocolate chips with shortening.
7. Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled treats.
Notes
Use greased hands to prevent sticking.
Melt chocolate in short bursts for a smooth texture.
