Description
Rich and creamy cheesecake layered with chocolate chip cookie dough.
Ingredients
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup coconut (optional)
1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth. Stir in coconut.
3. In an ungreased 9- or 8-inch square pan, break up half of the cookie dough. Press dough evenly in the bottom to form a crust.
4. Spread cream cheese mixture over the dough. Crumble and sprinkle remaining dough over cream cheese mixture.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
6. Cool for 30 minutes. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled. Cut into 16 bars.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth mixture.
Allow bars to cool completely before refrigerating for best results.
