Description

A guide to creating a visually stunning and balanced charcuterie board perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale

34 varieties of cheeses (e.g., Brie, Goat Cheese, Cheddar)

23 varieties of cured meats (e.g., turkey bacon, beef salami, turkey chorizo)

Assorted crackers and sliced baguette

Fresh fruits (e.g., grapes, berries, sliced apples)

Dried fruits and nuts (e.g., apricots, almonds)

Spreads and dips (e.g., honey, fig jam, gourmet mustard)

Garnishes (e.g., fresh rosemary sprigs, small pickles)

Instructions

1. Place small bowls for olives, spreads, or dips on your wooden serving board.

2. Arrange cheeses around the board, leaving space between them. Cut hard cheeses into slices or cubes.

3. Fold or roll cured meats and drape around the cheeses.

4. Place piles of crackers and sliced baguette in remaining spaces.

5. Tuck fresh fruits into gaps. Toss apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.

6. Sprinkle dried fruits and nuts into any remaining crevices.

7. Fill your small bowls with honey, jam, and mustard.

8. Garnish with fresh herbs and pickles. Serve immediately.

Notes

Toss apple or pear slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.

Use a clean wooden serving board as your base.
