Ingredients
1 pound flatbread dough, homemade or store-bought
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup pizza sauce
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
8 slices mozzarella cheese, cut into ghost shapes
1/2 cup black olives, whole and sliced
1 cup cauliflower florets, small bite-sized pieces
Fresh parsley or cilantro, for garnish
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
2. Lightly oil a large baking sheet.
3. Roll out flatbread dough into a rectangle to fit the pan.
4. Brush dough with olive oil.
5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
7. Arrange cauliflower florets evenly across flatbread.
8. Bake for 8 minutes, until cheese starts to melt and edges begin to crisp.
9. Remove from oven.
10. Place mozzarella ghost cutouts on melted cheese.
11. Press sliced black olives into ghosts to create eyes and mouths.
12. Add whole or halved black olives around flatbread as gravestones.
13. Return to oven and bake for 5-7 minutes more, until ghosts are melted but still hold shape, and crust is golden brown.
14. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
15. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or cilantro.
16. Slice into squares and serve warm.
Notes
Mozzarella cheese melts best for creating ghost shapes.
Use fresh parsley or cilantro for a vibrant garnish.
