Description

Indulge in these delectable Apple Caramel Bombs that promise a burst of gooey sweetness in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough

8 caramel candies

1 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 apples, finely chopped

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Caramel sauce for topping

Crushed peanuts for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium cooking dish with cooking spray.

2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes. Set aside.

3. Remove biscuits from the can and stretch slightly. Place 1 tablespoon of apple mixture in the center of each dough circle and top with one caramel candy. Pinch together the ends of the dough to form a ball.

4. Place balls into the prepared dish and brush with melted butter.

5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.

6. Garnish with caramel sauce and crushed peanuts before serving.

Notes

Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast.

Serve warm for the best gooey experience.
